So every Wednesday, I would like the share the word with you guys. The Living Word of GOD.
The essence of this is to keep us in sync with our spirituality. Reconnect the disconnected souls, heal the broken hearted and the sick, freedom for the oppressed and I assure you there would be live testimonies. You just stick around and hold fast........God always has you in mind.
Lets start with Love.
The two greatest commandments in the bible focuses on love.
And one of them, a doctor of the Law, putting him to the test, asked him, "Master, which is the great commandment in the Law?" Jesus said to him, "'Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind.' This is the greatest and the first commandment. And the second is like it, 'Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 22:35-40)
When we wholeheartedly love as commanded, we can never go wrong. A world filled with people that love God and their neighbours is paradise, void of hatred, killing, stealing, back biting, adultery, jealousy, strife and evil things. If you love the Lord your God, you will keep his commandments which negates all these actions.
Show love today by feeding the hungry, visiting the sick, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, show acts of kindness, bless those around you and without: It could be with a smile, listening, words of encouragement and even friendship.
Did I hear you say you do not have capacity to show love. NO, you do. Love is not expressed in material things alone but in our deeds and actions.
My dear children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue, but in deed and in truth. (I John 3:18)
