I woke up this morning, FLAWLESS. I mean, not totally after the reunions and meeting with family and friends over the Easter holiday; making others happy, reaching out, mending fences and sharing love as Christ did for us many years ago.
The holiday ran from Friday through Monday and that was a long, long holiday. But guess what, it's Tuesday morning, 5 am and I practically did not want to get up. You might call me lazy but I know most people felt same way. I stand to be corrected though.
Saturday, second day of the long holiday, my 13 mths old baby took ill and kept me awake for 3 nights (Monday inclusive) and would not let any other person touch,hold or even carry him, he just wanted his mama. I'm sorry I ain't a supermom, the pressure got to me I was close to tears because my husband took ill too......*sobs*
Yes I had to do almost everything by myself this morning, left the house late and got to work a minute past eight, not too bad. sad though,as one would think after that long holiday you'd get to work earlier.
nobody knows I want to sleep badly, its 4.00 noon and had only a cup of tea,I am hungry too. I thought all I ate for Easter would last me for a week. Can't wait to get home to my recovering family and hopefully get a good night rest since it rained.
Keep the Easter spirit up, remember and uphold the reason for the season. Holidays like this are not just to relax,have fun and all (It's an essential part of it though). Reflect, Reach out, Pray for, Bless others this period and beyond.
