Breaking news: MILEY CYRUS is BLACK!!!!!!!!!

I'm black....yeah right. I should hit you with a wrecking ball.

I know...right!!!! I can imagine what you are thinking is exactly what I thought when I heard the news. It wasn't really news though, a conversation maybe.

So the other day, my friend and I were having a cup of frapuccino and enjoying the fresh smell of summer's emergence and a cute couple walked by, they looked so in love, walking hand in hand, touching, stroking hair, whispering and all, you could imagine butterflies hovering around them. One thing is the guy was white and the lady black, for me that's a perfect combination, any racial combination does it for me, the major point being the love they feel for each other.

As usual, my friend who happens to be a guy that's not my boyfriend but I hang out with a lot and I started a conversation and he asked: Can you date a black guy or any other race that's not white
I say yes I can if I love me some black, Italian, Indian or any race and its mutual, then he has me.
What the....he said, seriously you mean there aren't enough white guys to go round, you know how that makes me feel.

I was like take it easy bro its just a convo, and I'm not supposed to care how that makes you feel, you ain't me. I started calling names of mostly multi racial celebrities I love.
My friend in the usual white guy tone says me too, excited I looked at him and said really???
Sure he said, I can do black girls like Halle Berry, Kerry Washington and maybe MILEY CYRUS.
Miley what? she ain't black!! I screamed out loud, she is purely white, doubt she's got any mixed blood of any kind.

He starts arguing lamely, blindly and confidently at the same time. His argument centered around wild. I have seen some black people in action and they are mostly wild, she is wild, therefore she is black.
Come down from your high horse honey and see for yourself, you ain't even friends with any one that's not white so how do you judge and come to a confident conclusion. Anyway I said, since you are so sure Miley is sure black. In your world, that is. There you have your perfect black girl.

FYI- Miley aint black, the other ones are taken. There are many others in different shades and races though.

Growing up ain't easy

Been over twenty years I heard myself cry for the first time
Though in pains mama felt honey and waffles as she heard her baby cry
She held me in her arms like the most precious thing in the world
We've been bound close ever since, her chest is always home.

Though my eyes weren't blue but papa found it amazing anyway
The look on his face could have won him a million dollar that day
He lifted me up, he stroked my hair.
And oh....that love was intense.

But now I am grown
And I have got to carry my cross all alone
All they can do is watch and hope all the years of teaching pays off
But now I am grown
And I have got to face the world on my own
Mama's far away
Papa's nowhere close
Why do I have to grow
I don't ..................................

We lay back at the end of a good day
Recount our actions, ordeals and encounters
We realize we are greatly flawed
Even while been extremely careful
One thing could still go wrong
Who am I to judge
Who are you to bring down the other person
He who has no sin, let him cast the first stone

Sinners make amends
Sinners change their ways
Sinners everywhere.

US Officials Arrive in Nigeria to Help With Search for Kidnapped Girls

U.S. officials are on the ground in Nigeria to help the government there find the hundreds of girls kidnapped by the terrorist group Boko Haram, Secretary of State John Kerry announced today.
"Our inter-agency team is hitting the ground in Nigeria now, and they are going to be working in concert with President Goodluck Jonathan's government to do everything that we possibly can to return these girls to their families and their communities," Kerry said during an appearance with Syrian Opposition Coalition President Ahmad Jarba.
State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki would not say exactly how many officials were in the first group of American experts and advisers to arrive in Nigeria but said the final tally will be in the dozens, in addition to the embassy officials already on the ground there.
Psaki said Wednesday that the FBI and USAID are among the agencies that stood ready to provide personnel.
A separate team of seven military experts, dispatched via the Department of Defense, will likely depart tomorrow for Nigeria, according to Pentagon officials.
They will provide support in communications, logistics and intelligence, largely out of the U.S. embassy in Abuja, and won't be actively searching for the missing girls, officials said. An additional team of 11 military officials is already on the ground there.
The U.S. embassies in neighboring Chad and Cameroon have also been coordinating security measures with their host governments, in the event Boko Haram violence, or signs of the girls, cross over the Nigerian border, officials said.

An innovation that Will Transform the Airline Experience

7 Innovations that Will Transform the Airline Experience

Here comes the solution we have long awaited. The innovative Paperclip Armrest features a double-decker design that lets two people share without touching. Finally, there could be elbowroom, even in the middle seat. And Lee’s design isn’t a flight of fancy. He told Yahoo that he has been hired by an aircraft seat manufacturer to design an economy-class model that will go into production soon. The award-winning idea by Hong Kong-based Paperclip Design has taken flight—at least on the Web. ”The idea for the armrest came about when I was at a seminar in a crowded lecture room while studying at MIT,” the 30-year-old Paperclip Design Director James Lee told Yahoo Travel. “The guy next to me was using the armrest, and I had nowhere else to put my arms, and I realized if the armrest had more level[s] I could have rested my arm underneath his elbow.”

As for me, I cannot wait to have that on air planes. Tired much of elbow fights or better still......the survival of the biggest elbow.

# Bring Back Our Girls

The fresh sour taste of the horror never seems to get better or go way. Everyday with a different sad tale. The wailing and anguish of mothers, the fear of the unknown for their girls, mysteries untold, imaginations running wild. Where do we begin and where do we go from here. Where are our girls?
Nigeria and most especially her government has been the focus of the world within the past week as news of the over 200 girls abducted by Boko Haram broke. The government has been slow in responding and the people are angry. The constant loss of lives with mere condolence and sad messages from the government has ceased to console the people. Now they want action...We want action!!!! We want all want our girls back. #Bringbackourgirls.

Numerous protests have been organised all over the world by Nigerians and well meaning individuals and organisations in other countries, mothers have raised their concerns, fathers try to stand as the strong hoper and rock for families. Public figures have thrown their weight behind the protest in different ways. The US government has sent troops, other countries like France have offered help to Nigeria.
We hope and pray the troops and those involved in the search make a headway, OUR GIRLS get back soon into the hands of their loving and waiting family and we the world over that love peace, unity and harmony.
